FOUNDER

Jonathon Chase

Jonathon Chase, Owner/Chef, found himself in the kitchen as soon as he could get up on the step stool to reach the counter and help his “Pops” create a soul-full, love filled, creations for their family. That love for crafting delicious food has only grown over the years. Jonathon has worked in a variety of restaurants, working his way from dishwasher to chef and eventually graduated with honors from Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. 


It was always Pops’ dream to have his own restaurant. Pops’ first grandchild, lovingly named him Papio (pronounced paw-pea-oh), and the rest followed suit. We, Jonathon and his wife Shawna, were just a few short months away from opening, when Papio suddenly passed. It is with immense love and gratitude for Papio that we bring his lifelong dream to fruition.
